Rosey at the Tiller...
What perfect weather last weekend....just like being in Southern California. I was privileged to head out on Paul Rose's Atkin-designed double-ended gaff rigger, "Cocoon" for her first sail in five years.
Paul lives aboard this tiny little wooden ship in a corner of  the Yacht Club and thrives in his cosy little cocoon. The wind was gentle and the boat was blessed..... it was a perfect day for her to shake off the dock lines, at least for an couple of hours.

    Grant the
    bloggist.

I'm writing this blog primarily so that I can remember what we've done....it doesn't take long for all of these experiences to melt together and become confused in memory.
It's also a great way of keeping in touch with others, and if I can entertain, and/or enlighten someone else, it's a bonus.
The archives go back to the beginning of our adventures since sailing out of Geelong.
